Farewell old friend you and your sense of humour will be sadly missed by your immediate family and the members of the Royal Marine family who had the good fortune to know you.
Keep the bar well stocked for when we join you again.

The pandemic restrictions sadly mean that I, and many others, will be unable to attend Cookie’s farewell. I am sure that there would have been a full house of his many friends from the Royal Marines. Cookie, you were a good friend who will be sadly missed by many. Sincere sympathies and condolences to Jackie and John’s family. I will be thinking of you all at 11am tomorrow

Dear Jackie and family
We lost touch with Cookie after Deal, so it was great to get back in touch via Facebook and to know he had a wonderfully happy life with Jackie and their family.
When we speak of our time in the Corps, Cookie features in many a story, especially when on tour in NI. They were good days.
Our thoughts will be with you all tomorrow
Kind regards
Don and Sheila Vango
