Passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on 18th April 2021, aged 84 years. Loving husband to the late Patricia and a loving companion to the late Joan, dearest father of Claire, Jonathan and Ian, much loved and cherished grandfather to Kelly, Adam, Alastair, Oliver, Harvey and Izzie and a treasured great grandfather to Arianna, Harrison, Lochlan, Edison and Lucy. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, only thirty mourners will be allowed into the Church service. Those mourners will be contacted directly by the immediate family.

On behalf of Claire, myself and the wider family, may I extend our heartfelt thanks for the love, kindness and happy memories shared by so many people about our dearest Dad. They are very moving yet comforting at this intensely sad time. Your affection for Dad and the generous donations to his charity of choice would have touched him deeply. We greatly appreciate your generosity. Thank you all. Jonathan
