Derek Wheway donated £30 in memory of Alan

I knew Alan as a work colleague and as a friend. He was the epitome of an excellent teacher who always had the interests of the children at the heart of everything he did. There are many children who probably have families of their own now who will remember him with great affection, and know how he helped them in their educational years. As a friend he was the genial host who could make an evening spin along with his jovial quips and smile. Alan, you will be sorely missed not just by your family but the many many people you helped during your life.
