If I could write a story
It would be the greatest ever told,
Of a kind and loving Grandad Who had a heart of gold.
I could write a million pages
But there's one thing I would say, Just how much I love and miss you Every single day.
You were a firm foundation Through all the storms of life,
A sturdy hand to hold onto
In times of stress and strife.
A true friend I could turn to In times of good and bad,
One of life's greatest blessings The man I call Grandad.

Another year has passed us by and a
new one about to start. Each year I
miss you more and more deep down
within my heart.
If I could have a new years wish one
that would come true. I'd wish that I
could somehow spend some time up there with
you.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you, you're always at our side
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again
Love and miss you always Grandad ❤️ until we see each other again xxx

The day that God called your name
It broke my heart in two
But heaven needed an angel
And the one he picked was you
I just wish he could have waited
And let you stay with me
But you have left memories in my heart
And that's where they'll always be
I just wish I could rewind the clock
Or make it turn real slow
I could have hugged you one more time
Before you had to go
No matter how much time will pass
Ill miss you everyday
Keep shining bright in heaven
So you can light my way

Happy heavenly birthday Grandad
Love and miss you forever
🤍
