Steve was my Godfather. He never missed a birthday or Christmas card as long as I can remember. 40 years ago this summer, even though we had a small wedding lunch, he made the effort to come all the way from Suffolk, just so he could attend an evening function - I still feel guilty he wasn't on the invite to the ceremony and luncheon. The last time we met was when our two children Lisa (now 31) and Ben (28) were about 3 and 5. Steve took some beautiful photos in our garden which we still have. I am so sorry to hear the recent passing of an absolute gentleman. RIP Steve
