In loving memory of Sam Brittain who sadly passed away on 9th April 2021.

A big character with a soft centre, Sam will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family, friends, Tonbridge Angels Football Club and The Foresters Arms in Tonbridge in particular fondly remember Sam with love and affection. It has been a heartwarming pleasure to receive so many good wishes from so many people, reflecting the high regard in which Sam was held by his community.

Please hold Sam in your thoughts and hearts.

THE CELEBRATION OF SAM’S LIFE

As we are only allowed 30 invited guests at Tonbridge Baptist Church, you can follow our celebration of Sam’s life online with a livestream at www.tonbridgebaptist.church/experience/watch-tbc-live/

Prior to the service we will drive past the Tonbridge Angels football ground at Longmead, TN10 3JF, round the corner from the church, at about 1.50pm, if you would like gather there safely to say your farewells to Sam. The football club Marquee Bar will be open from 2pm and will screen the service. This will be table service only, in line with current Covid regulations. Tables may be booked at https://www.tonbridgeangels.co.uk/buy-tickets and when the under cover tables are all taken, further tables will be placed on the lawn.

After the service, we will walk over the road from the church to Tonbridge Cemetery, using the Darenth Avenue entrance, at about 3.30pm, where you may also say your farewells. We will then go to the Marquee Bar.

It is a sad occasion, but not a solemn one, so please look bright and remember the good times.

I will never forget the memories I have with Sam, from college to going to seeing the Prodigy to visiting Bournemouth and then having someone familiar on our first days there! I wish there could have been more. You will be so missed Sam x
