Pat was like a second mum to me. My own mum and Pat met at Husky’s and became firm friends. They went on to work at Gammers together for many years until my mum retired and sadly passed away. Pat will be so missed by so many xxx

These are words that I never thought I would be writing. My beautiful sister and I were less than 2 years apart in age, we lost our mother at the ages of 3 and 5 respectively and from that moment we shared a bond, not only due to the loss of our mother but also shared some some unpleasant experiences at the hands of our stepmother. This resulted in us being brought up by out paternal grandmother and in Pat's case our fathers brothers family! We had an unbreakable bond! She was always there for me as a support and and with pragmatic advice ...sometimes direct criticism. I loved her unconditionally and will miss her terribly. You were too young Pat. Life is so unfair! 💔

I met you when Doug and I came over for Alinas naming party... 18 years ago... I had fallen in love with Doug, so did I for you, instantly recognizing your beautiful, kind nature, and we become sisters. We shared wonderful times, had great laughs, and shed a little tear here and there, and I will miss you so very much. So glad we managed to arrange a surprise birthday visit with Petes help, that so kindly waited for us until almost 2AM, and when you were summoned to come downstairs and you saw us... the light of happiness on your smile!!! You could not contain yourself, you ran and jumped on Doug embracing him arms and legs, like a little girl! That is the last memory I will treasure forever. Thank you for all you have shared with me. The morning star shines brighter for us. Always Pat. Your sis XU
