In loving memory of Roger Lee who sadly passed away on 18th March 2021 ages 74. He was a loving husband, dad and soon to be granddad who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

As you all know Roger was a light hearted joker who didn’t take life too seriously, he enjoyed the little things in life such as bird watching, tending to his avery and enjoying time in his garden. He was such a gentleman who always put others before himself offering a hand wherever he could and turning his talents to fix anything anyone needed.

Rogers funeral is on Monday 26th April 2021 10.15am at Vinters Park Crematorium Maidstone ME14 5LG. Close family flowers only please, as you all know Roger was a keen bird watcher and so if you wish to make a donation the chosen charity is RSPB via the just giving page.
Unfortunately due to the current government guidelines we are restricted on numbers that are able to attend the funeral, therefore only people that have been contacted to attend are able to do so, however please feel free to leave a condolence message and light a candle on this page in loving memory of Roger.

We will love and miss you forever and always your loving family x x x

Dodge, the Best uncle you could have asked for, you taught me everything I know about Darts, how to catch camping stools with a fishing rod, how to cook a salad but most importantly how to be a Capitan, I'll do everything I can to keep the legend of the Donnay alive. You really will be missed Rest In Piece Roger the Dodger

Roger my husband, soulmate and best friend I will miss you more than you will ever know even though you were sometimes a Victor and drove me mad getting giant belly bulge in my way and saying you had done the cleaning on a Friday when in fact you’re just put the feather duster around (above eye level) as you said I didn’t clean above my head 😊 and then switching the hoover on as I walked through the door. You were everything that our lovely friends and family have said about you on this page and way more to me. A great husband, friend, dad and you would have been a brilliant grandad to little nugget. Until we meet again I will hold you forever in my heart. Rest in peace love ❤️ you always and forever. X ❤️ X. Ps stay away from that floosy Zsa Zsa you’ll be in serious trouble when I come to meet you again xx

Uncle Dodge. You always knew how to make me and Scott laugh & help us build our toys at Christmas when we were younger. One of my concerns is who is going to prepare the Salad for Maz now or complete the jobs you were supposed to do all day 5 minutes before she gets home so you look busy! You were a major part of the family and will be deeply missed by us all. Rest in Peace 🤍

My pops,

Pops you are my hero you are everything I’ve ever needed and more, we were never ones to be mushy which is why I would always joke with you, but we both knew the score. As a child I would always bring my friends round and entertainments officer was your name, as I grew everyone still knew you but now Mr fix it was your game.

I never actually told you how secretly proud of you and your ways that I am, for being everyone’s savour, straight talking and a very principled man. We all knew where we stood with you and even as an adult I am scared to disappoint, I hope I have been as successful as you had hoped and that our views on my life choices have been joint.

You must know that you and mum are my inspiration what a couple to aspire to be, loving, caring and loyal what more could I wish to see. My friends would always ask me why I was so fussy finding the right person to be with, but you and mum have taught me it’s more about finding a soulmate that’s the way to live.

I can’t stop thinking about all the things I still want us to see and do, how you still had so much life to live and were robbed of just being you. I am thankful mind of being able to tell you of what I am sure is your happiest moment of late, that you will be a grandad to baby nugget I just wished you had made the date. I’m sorry you will not be able to teach my child all about nature, how to cheat at cards and play darts, but know that you will not be forgotten and forever in our hearts.

I can’t imagine my life without you what a void that nothing can fill, you are forever the cappitan in our eyes and that’s for sure a done deal. Notice how I refuse to talk about you in the past tense because I know you will always be smirking at us, and still causing havoc that’s for sure a must. Please know that I love you, the apple of my eye who is now guiding me from high up in the sky.

I love you more than words can ever say, and I will miss you every second of every day. Love you millions dad 💙 x x x

Dodge what a man you really was to Kerri and Maz. The way everyone talks about you and the way you was is brilliant to hear. I’m so glad we got to meet and had a really good relationship. I will look after the both of them and grandchild you never got to me. Even though you never got to meet the baby nugget, they will always know who you are and what you stood for! I will make sure for certain he knows what it meant to be apart of your family! He will always know about his grandad dodge and the way he loved to cheat! Love you mate, can’t wait to meet you again to moan about them two as usual! Nathan ❤️

So, today Mr. Buglee we said "see you again". How lucky we are to have you in our lives. So many good memories but not as many as there should have been; always such fun times and full of laughter.  How lucky Sophie is to have you in her life, the famous Buglee trail at the Welsh Museum, the afternoon you spent on your knees giving the best donkey rides.  How lucky and sad we all are.  Until we see you again, take care. Xx
