In loving memory of Nellie Young who sadly passed away on 20th March 2021
Nellie was born in Blyth, Northumberland, where she grew up and met Gawin Young at the age of 16. It was love at first sight and they married 19th March 1955. They had three children and moved to Nottingham in 1969 where they stayed and raised their children and Grandchildren.

Nellie was very family oriented and we had many camping and caravanning holidays and weekends. She loved to dance and sing and had an amazing sense of humour.

She has left a large void in the hearts of those that knew her.

Private viewing will be held at Lymn’s Radcliffe on Trent in the chapel of rest between 10-4.30pm.

Nellie’s funeral will be held at Wilford Hill on the 13th April 2021 at 3pm, however will have a 30 people limit due to Covid.
Funeral procession will be going down Owthorpe road, Ringleas going back towards Plumtree road at 2.30pm in Cotgrave for anyone to pay respects.

Flowers are family only, donations to Alzheimer’s research.
