In loving memory of Jean Elizabeth Hastings who sadly passed away on 17th March 2021. Jean was a loving mum to Simon and Vincent, a doting Nan to Tom, Joshua, Liam, Devon and Ryan and a very dear friend to so many people.

Jean was a great and supportive friend to my parents these past odd 60 years. She was very thoughtful and I was always amazed that she never forgot my Birthday. Jean will be greatly missed by myself, Jenny and all my family. We have so much happy memories.
Vincent and I wish to thank those family and friends who were able to attend our Mums funeral on the 21st April. To see friends outside the church that morning was as equally special and I know that would have meant so much to her. We also thank those who wrote such very kind words of condolence , in the many cards we received and in this obituary.
We really appreciate the very generous donations made to the two charities Mum felt so close to. In addition to those received on this page, donations of £85 for the RNLI and £80 for Havens Hospice were made from the funeral congregation . Two donations were made directly to Mums church. We thank you all and will make sure these are sent on in the coming days.
