I believe this to be a former client of mine when I was working at helping hands carers, Harry and I always had such a good time together, we chatted about his life and what he has done… I was always intrigued by his stories! The ones which grabbed me was his war time ‘reccies’ and his animal rescues… he told me about a fox which had got herself stuck from fear and he rescued her and the next day she gave birth… another about a badger he took in.. I recently saw some pictures of that in the notts paper and I was immediately interested in knowing if Harry was still here, in the world as we know it. Sadly, it seems he isn’t…! I only wish I had contacted before and had at least one last chat with him, all I can say now.. I am honoured to have been there to listen to some of his life stories and I will always remember him! We had a special connection, we are both lovers of nature and I will forever remember Harold fondly in my heart! Rest in Eternal Peace, Harry, thank you for all of your stories about the war and king fishers and jam jar fishing and badgers and your (jack russell) doggos! Xxx
