In loving memory of Linda Ashley, who sadly passed away on 7th March 2021 after a long and courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.
Linda and Michael married in 1976, three years after meeting on holiday in Majorca and shared 45 years of happy married life together.
After they married Linda and Michael moved to Westbourne in West Sussex and she started work at Plessey in Havant.
They moved to Marchwood Southampton, where Linda started her long career at Roke Manor Romsey, where she was introduced to fly fishing on one of the premier chalk streams in the UK, the river Test.
After retiring as well as fly fishing she enjoyed walking in the New Forest, joining walking groups meeting and enjoying the company of like minded people.
Linda will be remembered by all her family and friends as a generous, kind and loving person, her passing is a great loss to us all.

Linda was a wonderful person who will be sorely missed but forever remembered in our hearts. She was so kind, warm and caring and I have such fond memories of her from my own childhood in particular, that I will always treasure greatly.
