In loving memory of Ronald Truscott, who will be missed so much by those close to him and fondly rememberd by those that loved and knew him. Ron led a colourful and vibrant life. A love for the ridiculous and silly things; seeing the funny side of things as well as always willing to take on life's challanges and never afraid to do things his own way.

His family and friends will be celebrating and remembering his life and legacy on Monday 15 March at 2pm. Please do join us by watching the live stream and wearing a splash of red ( his favourite colour).

Our chosen charities are Cancer Research and St Christophers, who through their fantastic work gave him the opportunity to enjoy new expereinces in his last few years for which we are eternally grateful.

We have been trying to reach Ron and Monique for sever weeks now, wondering why we couldn't...then today came the shock of learning that Ron had passed on to that great Comedy Club in the sky. Ron was a lovely man, never short of a salty comment but always delivered with warmth and humour. Our times together were always infused with laughter. He was a consumate professional and everyone held his work in great respect. We will miss him very much. Peter and Ann.

To a great friend who bought joy and laughter into our lives over so many years, thank you for everything you meant to us and brought to us. We will so miss your humour, your slightly cynical view of life and above all your courage and determination. We are so lucky to have known you, Monique Natalie and recently Holly and Lilly of course. Our lives have been made richer by your presence and we will never be able to replace what you represented to us. Thanks for all the memories Ronaldo.

Our friendship was instantaneous. BAM! Ron was like that.

Landing in Clapham and searching for a pre-print service, I'd hit the jackpot. Crackling with energy, intelligence and wit, Ron was both warmly spontaneous and impressively professional – qualities that don't often combine so disarmingly. i had found an authentic craftsman and a true friend.

Simultaneously anarchic and reserved, Ron cut an impressive presence in any room. His relish for the absurd – life as theatre – equipped him to swiftly puncture vanities and pomposity, and the music and comedy that he loved is clearly charged with that quality throughout. Ron's blessing is that he shared all of it with seductive glee... and in poster colour.

His generosity of spirit was infectious. We never stopped laughing. I shall miss him dearly.

Our very dear Monique
We were very sad to hear that your dear husband and friend, Ron, had died. He had been ill for quite a long time but the end was very sudden. We know that you will miss him terribly, as will your daughter Natalie. But we hope and pray that you will find comfort and strength in the support of your many friends at this time.
With our love and prayers
Martin and Emma Greenfield

What a funny and entertaining person Ron was - I loved his sense of humour as it was very similar to mine! When growing up, I always enjoyed when Ron (and Monique) would come over for dinner and then, more recently, having the pleasure of many good 'grown-up' chats, especially while up north with him, dad, and a bottle of Port! Good times that will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace
