Daniel sadly passed away in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. He had been diagnosed with heart failure earlier in the year. During the couple of days he was in hospital, his condition deteriorated very rapidly.
As you can imagine we are all shocked at how quickly this has happened, but also thankful he didnt suffer for as long as mum.
I am sure many people will have a tale to tell or a memory to share- mostly very amusing, although in later years Daniels social and autism problems also meant there were some bittersweet times too.
This is why i would like to think of him now being with mum and free to live the life he couldnt here.
We love and miss you Daniel. Theres an extra special angel in heaven and an extra bright star in the sky. XxXxX

Missing you daniel, especially this time of year and caught myself thinking about what to get you for xmas and making visiting arrangements. Have just come back from spain where we visited that special place we took some of yours and mums ashes. The sun was shining on you both and the freedom of the sea gave some consolation. Even a butterfly flew around us! The best xmas present is to know you are at peace. Bless you both xxxxxx

Despite his autism he was always considerate and remembered events like birthdays - always getting a present and always being so happy to give it to that person.
My funniest memory is when he danced around at Christmas like a turkey. Rest in peace xxxx
