In loving memory of Mary Ann O'Loughlin, who sadly passed away very peacefully on 20th February 2021. Mum was one of 13 children and the eldest of 7 sisters - born on a little island: Lettercallow, Galway - off the west coast of Ireland. Mother to 4 children - Ann, Joe, Sean and Barbara and a Nana, Baba and Gangan to 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She never failed to find the humour in life and no matter how down she might get - it was always so easy to laugh her out of it with a bit of teasing and fun. An incredible presence in our life - it will be totally impossible to forget her. We love you Mum xx

To my lovely mum,
I know i'm late putting this message on and you would be saying,,, "that's Sean for you ".
I hope mum that you are in heaven having the craic with your brothers and sisters playing 25, laughing and joking and exaggerating all your stories to make everybody laugh. It is only now mum that i appreciate how lovely and funny you truly were and hope one day we do get to see each other again.
I really miss you mum and love you with all my heart.

Mary, a strong, independent, mischievous funny lady who always made me smile. Remembered with many happy memories. One in particular is the time many years ago you told me the priest was on his way to my house, I rushed around tidying up I made tea (you told me to use a cup and saucer not a mug) l waited and waited he never came. When I phoned you you burst out laughing and said April fool. You will be sadly missed by the whole family, Rest in peace love Wendy x x x

Our mum Maíre Patsy, the best thing to come out of Letircallow, Connemara, apart from that long rocky road.
The epitome of an Irish mother, strong, kind, fair, tough, stubborn and fiercely protective of her children...even when they were in the wrong.
Mum could start an argument in a telephone box, but was such a great craic. Once met, was never forgotten.
You had a tough life mum but you had a great craic along the way. I doubt anyone will ever forget you ....certainly not your children.
A mother holds her children’s hands for a short time, but their hearts forever.

Dia dhaoibh mam

Is breá linn agus ni món dúinn tú Xxxxxxx

The fondest memories I have are of being on holiday with you in Ireland. They really were the best...full of laughter, dancing, listening to you sing and eating the best food ever! Another highlight was being able to visit your birth place Lettercallow... which was just amazing! ❤❤

The main thing I remember about Gan Gan is being dressed in two coats before school. The first coat for warmth, and the second for extra Eskimo insulation. I was always complaining that I was cold. Mum convinced me eventually one coat was more normal

‘That dirty dog’ - you used to call Barney and then when I wasn’t looking - I could see you sneakily feeding him a Belvita biscuit and a bit of chicken. I can remember all the Gaelic words you taught me, mainly animals, but some naughty ones too!

I will remember your Mum with so much fondness and love. She was strong and proud like many Irish mothers, but she was also full of fun and a great sense of humour and that’s what made her so special. She always had a twinkle in her eye and I hope that she’s taken that twinkle to heaven. Rest in peace Mary – you were an absolute pleasure to know, you will be easy to remember and always with a big smile on my face xxx
