Mr Emmanuel Kofi Opoku Ansong (2 Dec 1945 - 16 Feb 2021)
Funeral Director
In loving memory of Mr Emmanuel Kofi Opoku Ansong who sadly passed away in hospital on 16th February 2021.
Mr Ansong came to the United Kingdom in 1975, from Mpraeso, Ghana to train as a psychiatric nurse. He worked in Crayberry and Goodmayes Hospital caring for patients with mental health issues. He later entered into early retirement due to several health complications. He was a devoted Christian man who contributed greatly to ministries and churches around the world.
He was a truly loving, caring, supportive and devoted father, brother, husband, and uncle. Emmanuel, we love you, but your maker loves you most, your wife and your children have lost their husband and father. Your siblings have lost a treasure, and a church has lost a saint, you will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be carried out on Monday 15th March 2021, however due to Covid restrictions guests are limited. The funeral will be made available to view online for those that can not attend, information will be broadcast closer to the date.
For those who wish to send flowers for the funeral they can be delivered to Albin and Hitchcock Funeral Directors (Plaistow Branch).
Emmanuel, God be with you; may you rest in God’s grace and eternal everlasting peace,
From all of your loved ones x
