Aunt Lilla,
What a brilliant legacy you have left for those of us behind you. What an inspiration you have been to show us through demonstration how one can live a long, healthy, happy and Godly life as a precious example to so many of us.

I hope too meet you again after Christ's return to claim his own. Keep smiling aunt Lilla until we meet again.

I have very fond memories of Sis Wright. She had a infectious smile and laugh and I especially remember my favourite phrase that she would say.... “yes my dear!”
Such a lovely woman who defied the age barrier by outliving so many people! 104 years young
I can’t wait for that day when we see you again. Forever young, forever beautiful
Sleep peacefully till our Saviour wakes you
You were loved and you are missed

Marie and Tony 💔

We had the privilege of being at Lilla's 100th birthday party and were amazed when she stood up to make a very good speech.

Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to.
So talk about the good times.
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you.
A word someone may say, will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day.
That brings her back as clearly as though she was here.
And fills you with the feelings that she is always near.
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart.
And she will live forever, locked safe within your heart.

Love you Grandma, always and forever XXX

Sis Wright was one of our beloved Senior member at Derby Bethel Seventh-day Adventist church. Much loved by everyone ,loved to live in peace. Much respected by both the young generation and the older generation. Enjoyed singing hymn, studying the Bible and sharing the love of God. Was very inspirational to everyone whom she came into contact with ,either from the Christian environment or outside. She was a light to the Community of Derby and beyond.

I remember when we use to go and give her Holy Communion at the Care Home she would say " Keep the faith and and the lamp burning"

All I can say is that she fought a good fight and kept her faith in the Lord . Rest in peace, beloved great grandma .

I knew Sis a number of years now after working with her caring daughter Pauline Wright. It was always a delight when I travel from Birmingham to spend a few days. I never wanted to leave without going to see Sis Wright and we always pray after our chat and laughs x
