Mum, you needn't have worried that Dad would forget you, as he asks for you every day. He remembers how much you did for others and thinks how unfair it is that you should have been taken. I have made a donation to ellenor in your memory. We will love and miss you always. You are always in my heart. Until we meet again xx

  • Mum loved flowers. We have placed some of them at Holy Family Church, some on my Nan's grave and others at home. Thank you too, to those who sent donations to ellenor in lieu of flowers. We are all very grateful x

The loss to our family is immense but you leave so many wonderful memories for us to look back and smile. I was an early birthday present for you in 1977 and every year since I’ve had a much appreciated birthday card. In recent years I’ve made sure I have texted you on your birthday and will fondly remember the birthday cards especially the ones with the two pound coins wrapped in pink tissue. The lynchpin of our family has now gone but never forgotten. Thank you for the constant love and support - rest in peace my wonderful Auntie Eileen. Much love Clair and family xx

Rest in peace Auntie Eileen. I've never forgotten the times you and Uncle Dave came to our house in Cliffe all those years ago. Always very serene and friendly. Just a lovely lady. And I'm glad too of the times we came up to see YOU in Gravesend. Jenny and I send our best wishes to Uncle Dave, my favourite uncle, and All the family.

Thank you Auntie Eileen for enriching our lives with your generosity and spirit. My memories of Livingstone Road are simple: a warm welcome followed by jigsaws and laughter. You were so kind to me and my sister growing up and this carried on as I started my own family. My thoughts are with Uncle Dave and all of my cousins. I am proud to have got to know you. With love, Stephen and family xxxxxx

My schoolgirl friend and co-conspirator when we habitually pulled off our regulation and hated school berets when walking down the drive away from Wombell. Hall! We invariably got caught by the gym mistress! We did not see each other in latter years but we never lost touch. Rest well, my dear old friend.

Sad news indeed to hear of the passing of my favourite boyhood aunt. Always a pleasant visit when Aunty Eileen and Uncle Dave visited in Cliffe. A beautiful girl, and a gracious lady, Always pleasant and happy. Pat and I enjoyed our visits later in life. May she rest in peace and tranquility always. Deepest sympathies to Uncle Dave and all the family at this time of sadness. Brian 7 Pat (Ireland)
