In loving memory of Mary Anne Homan who sadly passed away on 19th January 2021. Born Mary Anne Grace in Clonmel, Ireland, she went by her middle name Anne and moved to England as a young lady and trained as a State Registered Nurse. Having worked as a nurse, she ran her own rest home and later a café, before returning to nursing as a practice nurse in Thorpe Bay where she worked until retirement. She was married to Richard Homan and raised two children, Alastair and Alison. She was a much loved wife, mother and grandmother to Thomas, Benjamin and Sophia. All who knew her knew what a kind soul she possessed. She was much loved and is much missed. May she Rest in Peace.

Rest in peace Anne. Many happy memories of the past 47 years seeing the children grow up; the care home years and long chats putting the world to rights.
Will miss you very much.

When we think of Anne and memories of the times spent together, we always think about her generosity, warmth and energy for the kids, particularly that water fight at Al and Natalie’s house, and for always making us feel like extensions of her own family - Rest In Peace Anne x
