In loving memory of Kim Frances Webb who sadly passed away on 13th February 2021. Kim was an extremely kind person who always thought of others before herself. She was loving wife to David, Mother to Amy and Joe, and Grandmother to Jack and Bradley. She also had two furry grand babies, Amy’s dog Logan, and horse Isla.

She began her life living in north London as a child where she lived with her Dad, Brian and her Mother, Laura (Billy). Her childhood best friend Karen, remained one of her closest friends throughout life. After finishing school, Kim attended a finishing school, where she modelled for a short time. She had many jobs after this from working in a telephone exchange, to working on a fish farm.

Kim gave birth to Joe in 1981. She moved to Camden Town shortly afterwards and ran a launderette. One night Kim went to watch Karen singing in The Manor House pub. Karen introduced her best friend Kim to the drummer in her band, David. Kim and David married one year later. They ran the launderette in Camden together. Many of the friends that Kim and David made here remain close family friends still. The Richardson’s were one such family who Kim, David, Amy and Joe have enjoyed countless holidays with over the years. They are much more family than friends at all. Kim and David also met Helen and Nico and also Janet, shortly before Amy was born. Helen, Janet and Kim were all to give birth to girls in the same year. Janet had Chelsea in august, Kim had Amy in September and Helen had Nicole in December. The 3 girls grew up to be more like sisters than friends, many thinking that they were actually related all with their straw blonde hair.

In the year 2000 the house above the launderette were Kim, David and Amy lived was sold and the family moved to Luton. David had many gigs in this area so they knew it reasonably well. For a further year the family travelled into Camden each day and Kim continued to run the launderette and Amy attended her first school, Hawley. When the launderette was sold a year later the family found jobs in Luton and Amy started Ferrars infant school on the recommendation of a new friend, Maria. Maria was Kim’s first friend in Luton. She had a daughter of the same age, Chloe and she and Amy quickly became friends. Maria and Kim enrolled Amy and Chloe in many of the same out of school activities including swimming and horse riding. Horse riding was the only one that really stuck, the pair going on to spend practically all of their time on this hobby and both now own their own horses. Maria sadly passed away last year and this was something that brought Kim great sadness.

Kim managed to get a job as a dinner lady at Amy’s school. Over the years she helped at the school in any way she could, doing extra hours and eventually got a job in the front office. She worked here until she retired just a short time ago on medical grounds. She loved her job and had many friends here. People that she would not have been without. The school showed great support and comfort to her during her retirement. Support from Kim’s ‘Ferrars Family’ as she always referred to them was so important to Kim and kept her spirits up throughout her chemo and radiotherapy.

Many of David’s friends became friends of the whole family. This included David’s school friends and their families. Dave and Jane (and their children Tom and Alice), Ian and Sandra (and their children Lauren and Josh), Rowena and Kevin (and their son Richard), and John and Bee (and their children Melissa and Abbie) were the family’s closest friends. Regularly having meals, drinks and barbecues together. The children were all very close and so were the adults.
