Andy's passion and commitment was infectious and it will live on in all the people whose lives he impacted. He will certainly stay with me, popping into my head as he always has done when I need a reminder to keep finding the time and energy to fuel my own passion for theatre.

Thank you for nurturing that in me Andy.

Andy Price was a youth theatre director par excellence.
He was a man I respected, admired and feel honoured to have called a friend.

He was, without doubt, a hard taskmaster, but this came from a driving need to get the very best performances from each and every member of a cast. He had a vision from the start and everyone involved, including the production team, were drawn into it, working tirelessly to achieve the desired result.

He was dedicated and ‘hands on’. He would help anyone with anything and gave much more in both time and effort than could be expected.

I have so many personal memories of our work together and the fun we shared. I shall think about him often and remember him always. He touched so many lives, giving so much to so many young people.

I will miss you Andy Price.

I left Noel Baker in 1992 and didn't know Mr Price as closely as some, but he always seemed like an endlessly positive influence on everyone he met at school and an ever-present source of motivation over the 5 years I was there. A brilliant bloke who was truly dedicated to his craft and I never saw a play of his that I didn't think was brilliant.

I have a 35 year old memory of him coming to my Junior school (Oakwood) on a few occasions in the mid eighties. My teacher loved Theatre and he would pop in to do ad-hoc drama lessons - The best drama lessons we ever had. Massive amount of energy and he made the prospect of senior school much more appealing.

Dedicated to the students he taught and the students he was about to teach. A sad loss; but great to hear that the Performing Arts Centre is to be named after him

Mr Price, thank you for being the best form tutor I could of ever hoped for. Thank you for motivating, guiding and inspiring me to be my best self. I have so many lovely memories of you, to name of few ~ your energetic presence (even doing morning class register!) your joyous laugh, your unique hand writing, on school presentation assemblies you always smiled with such pride and had the loudest hand clap whenever one of our form went up to collect a certificate, to one particular Christmas form party where having the drama studio as your form room was definitely a benefit (party food, music, smoke machine and lighting, the best) and so many more memories I’ll never forget and will cherish forever. Rest well Mr Price 🙏🏽

Class of 1997 🙌🏽

I was in Mr Prices first class when he arrived at Noel Baker and in his first musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” - 1982 I think . Can still remember the song which shows the lasting impression he had on me. “ Well my names Mike TV and I suppose I’m really glad. To win a day at wonders place it can’t be all that bad. I hope that in will be crazy in that chocolate factory as it means I have to go without a days TV” . I last met you Andy in the streets of Cardiff by chance when you were visiting your mother. You were a big part of my schj life . From a sunny Amsterdam - farewell and we will meet again

A great bloke who single effortlessly managed to hold my attention through school and for many years after.
My form tutor from 1992-97, and through to late 2000s with dytw and many other projects.
Committed, passionate and a majesticly foul temper, many happy memories of my time knowing this wonderful chap.
Sorry I couldnt remember 80% of any script you gave me...but my improvisations kept you in your toes eh?!?
The best times.
Cheers Andy.
