In loving memory of Venita McLaughlan who sadly passed away on 30th January 2021 with her family around her. Venita was so loving, kind and funny with the biggest heart and an even bigger smile.

Venita was a loving wife to Willie for 40 years. The most amazing mum to Samantha and William and a proud and loving granny to Travis, Indie, Evan and Eyra. She was a much loved mother-in-law, aunt and a great friend to many. She will be greatly missed and we will always have special memories in our hearts forever.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the service is limited to 20 mourners who the family have invited.

We respectfully ask to limit flowers to family only but should you wish to, there is the option to donate to one of the animal charities that Venita supported as she was a huge supporter in the love, care and welfare of animals.

The funeral cortege will be leaving Pikeman Road at 2.30pm then headed to Glasgow Crematorium for 3pm for anyone wishing to pay their last respects either from Pikeman Road or the Crematorium.

A beautiful lady inside and out. Her smile would light a room. A dear friend from terrible teens to growing up outrageously, always fun though. Will miss you terribly. xxx

Angela South donated £10 in memory of Venita

I spent many years as Venita's neighbour in Germany in the 80's and her friendship helped me through some lonely times when the men were away. I found her again on FB after many years and she hadn't changed a bit. I'm just sad that she passed away before we could meet again. I'm glad to be able to make a donation in her memory

Venita was such a lovely woman who was loved so very much by her family and will be a huge loss to them. I feel blessed to have known Venita for many years as a friend and I hope the family take comfort and strength from knowing how much we all will miss Venita and how sorry we are for their loss.
