A real gent. You have sadly been taken from this world far too soon but memories of you will linger on. How we will miss that smile and of course your fabulous lemon cake.
Rest in peace.

When we look back on our younger days, there are always one or two figures who stand out as having a big impact on your life. Ken was a great football coach. He coached me from U11 right through to U16, with St Mary's in the Burton and District League. He was always so kind and generous, picking me up from home every Sunday afternoon to take me to the game. He was a mentor to many of us and always had a smile for everyone. He and Kath always loved a joke and the car was filled with chuckles and laughs every week. Ken was very proud of his team; we achieved great success over several years, including League titles and Cup Final wins. However, I think his greatest achievement, forming a great team with Kath, was building a happy and caring community spirit. Ken was always ready to go the extra mile to help out anyone. He was a true gentleman and a brilliant bloke; he will be greatly missed and his memory will live long in the hearts of all the lads at St Mary's. A life well lived and a life well loved.
Rest in Peace Ken

Many happy memories of Parish bazaars, running the horse racing game! What a laugh we used to have. Now married to your old neighbour, Kath, Les Ross! What a coincidence. Sincere condolences to you all.
