In loving memory of John Leslie Stimson who sadly passed away on 28th January 2021, at 80 years of age.
Les, as he was known throughout his life, died peacefully at home after a short and painful illness. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Ethlyn and his children, Demian, Donna, Martyn and Jill. He will also be missed by his wider family and his many friends and former work colleagues.
He was a fun loving, kind and caring man with a wicked sense of humour, a zest for life and a love of the great outdoors.
Sadly the funeral numbers are restricted because of the pandemic. For those of you unable to attend but who would like to join in with the celebration of his life, contact Ethlyn who will arrange for details of the weblink to be sent to you. Alternatively, those of you who live locally are welcome to say your final goodbye (in a socially distanced way) as he takes his final journey from Houseman Gardens on Wednesday 17th February at 09:30 a.m.
Finally, you are welcome to leave your messages of condolence and/or leave a donation to either of the charities that have a special meaning, Cancer Research UK and RSPCA. Thank you from Les' family.

I shall miss you terribly Uncle Les. Th k you for giving me the love of the great outdoors, I didn't even get to show you my pics of walking in France. I owe my love of history to you and now as you too pass into the annals of time, may you walk every mountain you ever wanted. Love you always uncle xxx
