Dad,
It is so hard and very sad to now think you are not going to be with us anymore. You have always been there for us as our protecting Dad, our loving Dad and our caring Dad and you’ve meant the absolute world to us. I know sometimes I’ve been your biggest wind up and toughest with you, but there’s a little role reversal there I think, I am what you made me and glad of it. There are so many similarities between us, both physically and mentally. For years now certain things I do, I actually feel you are me and I am you. You’ve made me and you formed me and you’ve been instrumental in making my family and our life. So for being my Dad I want to say thank you and you will be so very missed. Not being able to wind up, chase you up the stairs, make you laugh, and for all the things you have done, much much more and of course for being you, Dad.

Love your Son x

Les - my brother. Thank you for being a great brother and Uncle to our children, you've been in my life for over 70 years, we've shared and made so many happy memories. One of them be able to share our trips to Holland to visit our Dad, Bob's grave in the war cemetery in Brunssum and reuniting our lovely Mum with Bob a few years ago. Love you Les, miss you but I'll hold you in my heart forever. Thanks for just being you. Mags and Phil xx
