In loving memory of our Mother, Patricia 'Pat' Margaret Boulter, who sadly passed away on 10th January 2021, aged 83 years.

In the Summer of her life, Pat married Kenneth (Ken), on 31st October 1959, and raised a family together.

Forty-nine years later, Ken, passed away three weeks after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cancer. They were hoping to make it to 50 years (Golden Anniversary), but sadly it was not to be.

In the winter of her life, Pat was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, which lead to Dementia. Her diagnosis meant she had many hospital appointments, hospital stays and treatments. In May 2017, as her condition progressed, Pat moved from London, to Gillingham (Kent), and became a resident at Grace Manor Nursing Home. Pat would have good and bad days at Grace Manor, and some visits were better than others (but this was mainly due to her condition and medication).

After Christmas 2020, her condition deteriorated further and on the evening of Sunday 10th January 2021, at 10:14pm, she was finally released from the chains that bound her to Parkinson's and Dementia.

Although her passing is with sadness, we believe her freedom from this disease to be a kindness and a relief to both her and her family. We hope she has been reunited with her loving husband and her Nan (which she would speak so loving and fondly of). Lastly, we dearly hope she has found the peace and tranquillity that at times seemed to elude her during her journey through the seasons.

Pat leaves behind three sons (Kenny, Graham and Malcolm), and two grandchildren (Archie and Johnny).

Her cremation was held on 16th February 2021, at Medway Crematorium, Blue Bell Hill, Chatham.

Donations in memory of Pat for Parkinson's UK or Dementia UK, may be made online via this site.
