Dear Sue, thank you for mentoring me when I came to do work experience a few years ago. You subsequently provided me with lovely references and I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside you. I remember laughing and joking in your office whilst we crunched secret biscuits! I will miss your humour and the computer games that you told me to try out. xx

I have searched so hard to find you and now you are gone. Whatever happened to you? You were my hero as I grew up and then you vanished to Africa. Your mum and dad would have been so proud of you!! I wanted you to know I got your card but there was no hint of where you were! I'm so sorry I failed to find you! Much love Rest in Peace Moira and Robin xx

You were one of the first people I met when I joined Lindsworth. Always there, ever constant, perpetually supportive. You touched so many peoples lives - we are all going to miss you. One of the younger boys said, "Sue often let me in the library even when I didn't deserve to be there" That sums up your kind nature Sue.

You will be sorely missed,

Rest in peace x

Susan you were always such a huge support to me. Never was anything too much trouble. Our Focus Students really benefited from the time they spent with you as did all the children you ever dealt with.
I am so sad you won't now be birdwatching in Devon.
You were a special lady and I'm glad I knew you.
With love and many fond memories, Helen

Sue, you always went above and beyond what was asked of you.
some people took advantage of that fact during the time I knew you which was a terrible thing, yet you took it in your stride and always worked so hard for the kids and staff alike.
you were a very private person but during the 14 or so years I worked with you I spent snippets of time not talking about work or workloads but managing to gain little snapshots into SUE - the person. you had such a good heart and lived for the kids you worked with, you gave your all and everything and I for one am truely blessed to have met you.
I never forgot the advice you gave me when I left to pursue my nursing career and I have to say I have always tried to stick to it.
The world is a sadder place without you in it and even though no one probably ever told you while you were here I want to tell you now that you made a difference to every child you worked with and were a truely amazing compassionate woman.
I hope you are at peace now lots of love

It is always sad when someone is taken from this life. But words can not express enough at this sadness and hugh loss. Not only to her friends and colleagues but the lives that Susan cherished and dedicated so much. The children at lindsworth school.. On a person level, when working with Susan she was an incredible support when I was being bullied and no matter how tough things got at work she always remined me it was all about the children, and it was. That was Susan. IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT CHILDREN. The light in your heart will be so
missed. X x x

Sadly missed, Susan you took me under your wing and made my first days at Lindsworth easier than they could have been. If I achieve only a fraction of what you did I will be happy. Rest in peace Susan and look over us from heaven xx
