Very sad to hear of Teds passing. I am glad mum (Doreen Beal) and I finally made that trip a short time ago to visit Ted, Nancy and grateful Mark made special arrangements to be there too to rekindle old friendships. Ted was always a gentleman and ready with a smile when I was a young friend of Mark and Cliff (and neighbour) in Basildon some 50 years ago. Mum was very sorry to hear the news and sends her old friend Nancy her love. Kind regards from Dorren, Janeen, Ann and Richard Beal.

Fond memories of uncle Ed holidays spent at holiday camps launching and chasing rockets (xl5) I believe,a trip to the doctors in his motor bike and sidecar in Basildon when I fell off my chair at the dinner table The long phone calls between him and Dad that probably helped B.T. profits.Sad to hear of Ed's passing but my fond memories live on and my heartfelt condolences to the Family.

A truly wonderful Uncle, of whom I have many happy memories of spending time with. Such kind eyes but with a twinkle and full of fun and that's all of my memories rolled into one "FUN" not to mention an amazing smile and laugh which I believe was infectious.
I think back with tears in my eyes but are quickly replaced with a smile on my face. Thank you xx
