In loving memory of Christina (Dinah) Horan who passed away peacefully at home on 12th January 2021 with her family by her side. Dinah was born in liscolman, Tullow, Co Carlow on 16th December 1925. Her parents Elizabeth and John O’Neill had 9 Children. James, John, Peter, Michael, Lilly, Greta, Lena and Maureen. Dinah was the last surviving member of this family.

On 13th Aug 1951 Dinah married Tim in The church of The 3 patrons, rathgar, Dublin. They Moved to England in Dec 51 and hated it. They Stayed a month then went back to Ireland where John, Jenny and Dermot were born.

They Came back to England in 1957 and settled in Nottingham where Joan and Timmy were born, completing their family.
Dinah loved watching sport on TV, snooker Football and Ireland in the 6 nations Rugby were here favourites. Dinah loved her home and garden, crosswords, wordseaches and especially Scratch cards. Dinah also loved reality TV, Big Brother and Love island to name but a few. She loved a bit of juicy celebrity related gossip but most of all she loved her family and she was lucky enough to live to see 5 Generations of her family born here in Nottingham, all of whom loved and adored her as much as she did them.

Dinah is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Tim whom she was married to for 67 years. Her family have been Blessed to have her love, support and Guidance and will love and miss her forever.

Rest in peace Dinah. Growing up you were Granny to the whole neighbourhood. As a family we have such fond memories of you. You saw us all grow up and become parents ourselves. You always had an open door and a smile for everyone. Our heartfelt condolences to the family for the lose of this amazing woman. x
