RIP to a wonderful auntie and godmother. Sorry I can't be in Glasgow for your funeral. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss the wee catch-ups we had after mass when I was in Glasgow. Sit back auntie Kathy and enjoy being together again with Danny and your family. Lots of love, Mark, Kathleen & family xx

Our wonderful gran......
So calm and happy, always looking for fun,
So glamorous and smart, out-dressed by no one,
So generous and kind, a great listener too,
And as for a party....bring it on....’hitchykoo!’,
Your wave at the window, your encouraging wink,
Your gentle persuasion to ‘have a wee drink’,
Your strong faith will guide you back to Granda at heavens gates,
Where you will be reunited with your lost ones and all your old mates,
Now you are at peace so time to rest,
You will be so missed Gran, you were just the best.
Love, Gillian xxx

“All is well.
Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!”

Always remembered, always cherished and always in our hearts and thoughts Kathy. Very fond memories of our visits where there was always a warm Irish welcome. Rest in Peace with your Danny Boy ☘️

Ah my wee Gran, well where do I start.

It seems strange to be writing these words rather than all reminiscing amongst each other celebrating your life.

You were the matriarch of the family and such a kind, happy, generous and loving little lady who led the best life.
Always up for the laugh, you enjoyed family time, going to your club, curries (aka Kathy Curry) and a wee party or two, usually the life and soul of it.

No one ever wanted to let you down even though you wouldn't give out - you were respected by all. You showed us not to be scared to show our love for each other and more so profess it the way you did with your beloved Danny Boy.

It is very sad to know we won't get to see your loving smile or hear your voice.
You have gone now to see he love of your life Danny Boy again.

Missed forever Gran - one in a million. x

Gran to think I can’t pop over and see your happy face, always welcoming, always smiling and your farewell, til out of sight with your double wave 🙌
So many fond memories ‘hitchykoo’ sit back and you’ve won a watch amongst many.
The smartest, most inspirational wee woman I know who I’m so proud to call Gran.
Always positive with such a sunny disposition. Danny boy will have scooped you up by now at your reunion at heavens gates, together where you were your happiest 💓 xxx
