Funeral Director
In loving memory of Stephen David Robinson who sadly passed away on 23rd December 2020 aged 59 years.
Steve was admitted to hospital in September 2020 prior to his diagnosis of Cerebral Lymphoma. Despite the amazing treatment & care that he received from Kings College Hospital, London. Steve lost his fight to this terrible disease & sadly passed away very peacefully, leaving his distraught partner Lynne, after being together for 12 years, Mum Lena, sister Sue, son Luke, Lynne’s daughter Charlotte & immediate families.
Steve was born & brought up a true proud Yorkshireman & whilst living in Kent, never forgot his love of Yorkshire & its many sports teams, especially Bradford City, Keighley Cougars & Yorkshire Cricket. Steve inherited his passion for sport from his late Dad, Alwyn. Steve also spent many hours following his passion for aviation at Leeds Bradford Airport & forged many lasting friendships along the way.
Steve will be greatly missed by all & he without doubt will leave a legacy of happy memories with everyone that knew him.
Donations in lieu of flowers would be greatly received to the 2 nominated charities, being The Badger Trust & The Lymphoma Trust. Stephen loved his animals and as you probably know campaigned a lot against the Badger Cull, also we chose The Lymphoma Trust to assist in funding for research.
The funeral will be held at Tunbridge Wells Crematorium on 1st February 2021 at 1pm. Please do let us know if you wish to attend due to limited numbers following the current Government guidelines. Should the crematorium be full, the service is going to be live streamed. Please find information below:
