In loving memory of Cynthia Pietrantonio who sadly passed away on 30th December 2020

Jo Kirk wrote

I would like to pass my condolences to all the family. It is very sad to learn of Cynthia's passing. I used to live a few doors up and was best friends with Angela . We moved away and lost touch.
Cynthia was the kindest , warmest caring person I have ever met, although I was a child friend of her daughter she took me under her wing and opened her heart and door to me. She was so inspirational, she has always had a lasting impression on me. I have often thought of how hard she worked, the loving home she provided and the best cook ever . I am sure she touched many people’s hearts as she did mine. God rest her soul , My thoughts are with you all x

  • Hi Jo. Thanks for your kind words. Did your surname used to be Medland? I can remember a good friend a few doors away who moved away and I lost touch with as we didn’t have mobiles and social media in those days. Please message me as I would love to catch up with you again. You should be able to find me on Facebook as Ange Wendels. X

Cynthia was such a special beautiful lady, inside and out. My memories of her go back as far as being a little girl (maybe 4 or 5 years old). I used to love going to her house in West Bridgford, she had a pair of black kitten heel slip on sandles that were fluffy that I would wear walking around the house that made me feel like a princess 👑. She made a mean Sunday roast and her profiteroles were the best I've ever tasted.
I also had the pleasure of working with her. She was as kind and loving as a boss as she was a friend. She was always there for anyone that needed her.
Cynthia you will always have a special place in my heart ❤️.
Sending my love to all of the family x

My deepest condolences to all the family. Cynthia was a wonderful aunt to me and for so many years a guide and support, with her words of wisdom. Always happy and always there for me when I needed someone to turn too. We have lost an angel.
