ODE TO ANG

Even though you didn’t live that long
You produced a girl oh so strong
She’s funny like you
And easy on the eye
Hardworking and determined
Though not exactly shy

She herself has made another
And you should be a real proud mother
Your job here has been completed
It’s some place new now where you’re needed

You may be gone in body
But in spirit you are not
While Lynesey and Brooke are around
You can Never be forgot

My time with you was brief
But in it I could tell
What a wonderful kindhearted soul you were
Who always treated me well

So our loss is heavens gain
As your new adventure begins
Do up there as you did here
The lady I know as “ pins “

Finally a word on your passing
Whilst sad it’s for the best
No longer will you suffer
You’ll get a deserved rest

The real pain is for us now
As we miss you everyday
But you had a decent innings
And for that I must say

Glad to have known you
And your family too
Enjoy your break now
Whatever you may do

We will raise a glass
To celebrate the life
Of such a wonderful woman
Friend, mother, nanny and wife

James O

RIP

Nan, although I didn't get the privilege of knowing you as well as I would've hoped, I can tell from all of the beautiful messages and sad friends and family that you left behind, that you were an amazing person. Your heart was true and your love unconditional, and you will forever be missed by, not only me, but all of the people who love you. And every night, when I look up at the sky, the first star I see will always remind me of you.
Love you, forever and always xx
