Gramps/GG Roy, We will miss you lots. I will always remember you being there as I grew up, even trying to teach me golf. It was lovely that you saw the next generation growing up. Rest in peace Gramps/GG Roy. All our love from Amsterdam, Oliver, Louise, Jack and Jojo. XXX

In loving memory of Roy Frederick Utton who sadly passed away on 27th December 2020
A loving Husband, Father, Gramps and 'GG'
A very active man throughout his life, who loved his golf and the inimitable pipe!
An active 'vet' at West Malling through to his late 80's.
A family man through and through, a great support to his wife Audrey and his extended family, grandsons and great grandchildren.
Ever there to lend a hand beit on the pick-up; rugby side-line or golfing partner.
Roy was the last of five children, all of whom lasted well into their 80's; born in New Cross, a veteran of 'D Day' and spent his war years in Belgium and Italy printing maps; and 'having a grand time!' A dapper figure throughout!
After an apprenticeship with Sun Engraving; where he met Audrey; and they did most of their courting on the Thames Embankment, he progressed to The Times and finally to the Daily Mirror.
He was a keen footballer, every weekend in his younger years; 'laugh a minute Utton' was one nickname!
Latterly an avid golfer, encouraging his grandsons and always up for a round.
"A joy to play with and always ready to play schoolboy games with his pipe always in place"
'A lovely man'; Funny; Certainly Cheeky; always the Optimist.
He will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Roy, daddy, gramps, GG - we will miss you.
