Ada Elizabeth Poole (28 Oct 1926 - 31 Dec 2020)

Mother you were a massive part of my child hood and my adult life , I will always be grateful for all the advice you have given me over the years , I remember phone calls to you from Australia where you would give me advice on how to live my life to the full I try to follow that advice now and will continue to.
I hope you are now at peace with grandad , I will never forget all you have done for me love you always xxxx

Still cant get over you're gone we miss you so much! The massive hole you have left in our family will never be filled our hearts will always have a piece missing and our lives will never be the same without you init I love you mother all the world and more! Xxx

We have thought about you everyday little mother, you will be a big miss, we will treasure all the story’s of your memories through life with all your ferry rides, bus rides and trips to the farm and Blackpool... we hope you are at rest as you are reunited with your love... big gaga as harlie would say! you are still loved and forever will be.

There is definitely only the one Ada and you will be sorely missed. I met Ada when I was 16! Even then she made a big impression on me. She said what she meant and had a right sense of humour. She used to say 'chocolate' after she passed a comment and laughed. When I was 18 I was saying 'chocolate' and was told - 'hey you aren't Ada'. All of my family offer their deepest sympathy to all of your family. They all remember Ada with fondness. God bless xx

Been thinking of you a lot today hope you and pa bear had the best reunion and you gave him that big kiss and cuddle from me ... been thinking of all the happy times all of our trips to colins farm ... all of the bus rides to seaburn and South Shields for a cup of tea (always thought it was such a long way to go for a cuppa when you had a kettle at home) but we wouldn’t have the memory’s we do if we didn’t go on those long bus rides!! The trips to Norway and Sweden!! Won’t ever forget mine and pa bears reaction when boarder control took our chocolate eclairs we were devastated and you tried to bribe them to get them back!! We had so many happy times I could go on forever

Rest in peace mother.
I have fond memories of a happy childhood and you are right at the heart of those memories.
From coming to yours before primary school every morning to play card games with you, to coming up every day in the summer holidays to play with the 3 lads from Hetton and annoy granda (probably the reason he didn't retire till well into his 70s).
Endless times spent with you on buses to every part of the North East but my favourites been when you took us on the shields ferry or to crowtree leisure centre.
Happy days.
