Marky

I write this with a heavy heart .... it was Wednesday May 11th 2011 at what became our favourite holiday destination “Portugal “ you were sat in a bar minding your own business when a walked in with two of my friends.
We started chatting and clicked immediately that was it from that day on we had a blast you changed my life forever xx

Although you lived in Notts and me in Newcastle due to family and job commitments it worked like a dream 😍.

Friday after work you’d travel upto Newcastle for the weekend and we would start our weekend of fun xx

You made so many friends up here and enjoyed everybody’s company.. we organised BBQS .... nights out and even nights in with takeaways although your favourite was to cook for the family coming round xx

Every opportunity we could we boarded a plane to different destinations all over the world...

Your favourite was to walk the waters edge along the Sandy beach and stop off for a couple of swifty s at a beach bar , watching the world go by ..

Over the years we made plans to move abroad run a little bar and just enjoy the sun ... unfortunately your plans was to go earlier then I wanted to.

We decided it would be best to take our separate paths but still remained amazing friends.

We helped each other through some very difficult times and would sit laughing and crying together..

I seen a side to you which was fun you were daft as a brush and I loved seeing you like this xx

2 years ago you phoned me to give me the worst news you had ever told me 😢 but I didn’t want to believe this and thought at some point you were going to be all better again ... 😢

Today me and my sons are going to get together and do what you loved doing on a Friday night ...

Few tinnies 🍻and a curry👳🏾‍♀️ 🥰

Mark you will always be in our hearts ..until we meet again

Love Always

Joanne xx

Marky, as your geordie family used to say.
It just feels like yesterday when you walked into our lives, i cant believe its almost ten years ago. You were like a father to me and a best mate. Always there when i needed help or advice. I woudnt be where i am today if it wasnt for you. Me and Nicola are forever grateful for what you have done for us and will miss you always. Your words "your not here for a long time, your here for a good time"!!! Sadly so true!! Thanks for everything big man.......love from your geordie son
