In loving memory of Brian Moore who sadly passed away on 21st December 2020

Brian Moore, born 15th February 1940 in Exeter.

He was the eldest of his siblings: Geraldine, David, Clifford, Dougie, Paul, Jeff and Michael.

He grew up on his parents farm and when he turned 18 was signed up for national service. In his time in the army he was posted to many places such as Cyprus, Germany, British Guiana and Northern Ireland. He served in the army for 9 years and whilst in the army in Cyprus he featured as a extra in the film Guns of Navarone and always loved telling people about his stories and adventures he had.

After the Army he then stayed in Plymouth where he joined the Royal Navy as a driver in H.M.S Raleigh. In his time in the Navy he had various different driving rolls from driving the ambulances, coaches and lorries to transport sailors. He even drove the Royal family, members of which include Prince Charles, Princess Anne, the Queen mother and the Queen herself.

He was a loving, husband, father, grand father and great grandfather. Always laughing and joking, kind and selfless, he loved his family so much and adored his wife Ann, they rarely spent much time apart. He was a handy man who loved to build things and spent alot of time in his garden.

Brian had two children from his first marriage, Alan and Joanne and then went on to have another child
Fiona with his wife Ann. He also had 6 step children with Ann which he thought of like his own Allen, Simon, Andrew, Mark, Shaun and Emma.

His grandchildren, Chloe, Luke, Steven, Lucy, Charlotte, Luke, Jodie, Danielle, Kayleigh, Thomas, Aimee, Alicia, Dale, Tania, Shannon, Ryan, Jenna and Jude.

He fought Alzheimers/Dementia right till the end and we will always treasure all the memories we all have shared with him.
