In loving memory of Jackie Plummer who sadly passed away on the 18th December 2020, at home surrounded by her family.
Jackie will be sorely missed by her children David, Andrew, Debbie, Sally their partners, her grandchildren Joshua, Reece, Freya, Sophie, Neil, Luke, Simonne, Casey, Libby and their partners. As well as her great grandchildren Jessica and Jamie.
Jackie was the widow of the late Brian Plummer.
A little known fact about Jackie, was that she was the youngest female to fly a RAF plane, while in the RAF cadets, aged 15, which made the Daily Mirror. Along with serving as a Special Constable in the 1970’s where she met the then Miss World.
Jackie loved, and was extremely proud of, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Jackie was a keen quilter and set up her own Monday quilting club in Hullbridge where she made a number of good friends. Jackie also belonged to Pier Patchers, another local quilting group.
Jackie used to belong to Rochford WI, where she served as the secretary for one year. Jackie also opened up and helped in the WI hall in Rochford Square on market days offering teas and coffees to the public and market traders.
In the past year, Jackie suffered poor health, she was in and out of hospital, which prevented her doing the things she loved doing, along with the restraints of coronavirus. Her favourite saying was “there’s nothing wrong with me”.
David, Andrew, Debbie, and Sally are proud to have her as their Mum, and will miss her every day.
Sleep well Jackie xxxx
