In loving memory of Susan Margaret Moore who sadly passed away on 13th December 2020.
Sue was born in Rossington, only child of Walter and Margaret Maxfield. The family moved to Gattison Lane when Sue was 2 years old.
Sue worked locally at the Co-op in Rossington after leaving school.
After their marriage at St Michael’s Church, Sue and Bob began their life together in Boyle, Co.Roscommon, Ireland, Bob’s hometown. They became parents when Georgina was born in 1973.
Sue and Bob returned to live in Rossington after Sue’s Dad became poorly. Their second daughter, Tammy, was born in Doncaster in 1977.
Sue always put her family first and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved holidays with Bob, a highlight being a Kenyan Safari to celebrate their special birthdays ten years ago before Sue began to suffer ill health.
Sadly, Sue continued to experience deteriorating health in the last few years. However, she remained resolute and her close family continued to be her focus.
Sue passed away in Doncaster Royal Infirmary due to Covid19, on Sunday 13th December 2020.
Sue is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob, her daughters, Georgina and Tammy, sons in law, Sheldon and Jason and her three grandchildren, Jacob, Grace and Eva.
The family request that those who wish to honour Sue’s memory, could donate to her favourite charity, the RNLI.
Sadly due to current government restrictions Sue's funeral service will be by invitation. Only a limited number of people are allowed to attend the service inside Church however a video of the service is available to watch with this link:

Sue’s burial shall be held at Rose Hill, following the service at St Michael’s Church, Rossington, and as long as social distancing requirements are maintained, this can be attended by anyone wishing to pay their respects in person. Obviously this can change with government rules in light of the pandemic situation, but amendments shall be posted here.
