Merry Christmas Dad. Mum is spending Christmas with me and the family. The house will be buzzing with laughter and a hive of activity. I am hoping to not wear mum out but she is really looking forward to it. You are very much missed by us all. I love you very much ❤

I love you Grandad and would give anything to see you smiling here with us again and just listen to your kind advice. I have so many wonderful treasured memories with you, whenever I see ice skating I can just see you looking out at the skaters with the huge Christmas tree in the background. I took Lydia there again this summer and was so sad to see the site is gone now, but walking through there always reminds me of our special trip together. We all miss you so much.
Love you Grandad,
Christina xxxxxxxx

I know you are probably attending to all the animals up there, catching up with Uncle Will, Mike and Peter, but just wanted to say I love you. You always spoke such wise words. I feel very lost without you and miss you so much, Rebecca xxxxxx

Happy heavenly birthday dad. There’s been a lot of change since you’ve been gone; some you’ll be very sad about but a lot also you’d be very proud of. I so miss your presence, your guidance, your warmth and laughter. I feel close to you when I’m helping mum in the garden and also at home when the tiger moth flies above our house. Love you xxxxxxxx

I feel your presence most in the garden. We have a full blackberry bush there now, so picked some blackberries for mum. I was amazed at how many apples were up there too. You would have been in your element.
I miss you everyday, but know that you are still with us in some shape or form. I miss your calmness, coffee and just generally spending time with you.
Love you xxxx

As I sat today at lunch with my friend and her parents I was reminded of loss. You see her Dad was so lovely just like you.A wonderful Dad and Grandad and it just made me feel sad because it just reminded me of times I sat with you at the table laughing and enjoying a family meal.I can't find the words right now to explain just what a chasm of loss there is.I hope you know and understand just how proud I am to have known you as My Dad.You are never far from my thoughts xx
