Sue and I had some fun times. In particular the Shanghai Shuffle, which I doubt any of us will ever forget and a night out myself and Sue had in Glasgow. Before going in to the office I met Sue at the hotel to make sure she had a room on a low floor and to take up her bag. We had a quiet evening planned so for the first time, pre-paid for breakfast. It started with a very civilised early meal with Joanne Lennox and then we decided to find a pub that was showing the Everton v Spurs match. It was a very rough pub but the people were friendly, so we stayed far longer than planned and although we declined them, had several drinks bought for us (we thought it would be rude not to drink them though) Needless to say Sue missed her breakfast the next morning, and made do with a Glaswegian hangover cure - Irn Bu and Ready Salted crisps (which Sue said, actually worked)
Sue said that we were opposites in many ways, but we got on really well. Sue often spoke of her family and friends and was very proud of Tom. Sue made time for everyone and will be greatly missed. I am so sorry I was unable to attend the funeral but I did think of Sue and her family and friends on the day.
