Many of you have known Mum for a great number of years through various different walks of life. Either from her time before school, at school, in her job at the jewellers, florists, Giddings wood yard, or Southern electric. Or in later years in Cyprus, wherever you met her, I’m sure mum touched your heart. She was a warm, open and loving person who cherished her friends and family dearly. She moved back to the U.K. from Cyprus for a new start in December 2019, but 2020 had other ideas and she spent this whole year battling pancreatic cancer. She was brave and stoic the entire time, and even created her funeral favours for you all to enjoy. Thank you for all of your support from the phone calls, social distanced visits, card, flowers, and video calls, we all appreciated every single one, and each one meant the world to mum. Even when towards the end she couldn’t respond too much, she still listened and smiled and enjoyed the interaction of other people. So, thank you to everyone who made mums last year special. I was really sad to hear about Lucy, I had no idea she was back in England and poorly. Lucy worked for me at Powerhouse Nursling. She was very popular, amongst the Staff and Customers. On a personal note we used to spend time talking about our SEB shares and how we were going to make millions! I am sure she will be a huge void in all your lives and no words will make up for the loss of your dear Mum. Take care. Jo
