Barry coached Matt, me and group of other young footballers. He willingly gave up his weekends, standing on wet and windy touchlines so we could play for many years. I remember Barry's brilliant sense of humour and generosity and thanks to this I have many very happy memories. He was good man. My thoughts go to his family and friends.

Barry was a people person , loved life and I have a lot of wonderful memories , always greeted you with a hug and put the kettle on . he had a great sense of humor with lots of wonderful jokes . I'm glad I got to see him in January when I was in England , we shared a cuppa and a sandwich , caught up on the gossip . he truly was a good man and I will miss him . his family was his pride and joy ,nothing was more important . i'll never forget his wonderful smile and his zest for life , he loved to travel . well my dear friend I won't say good bye but we'll meet again someday , love you lots wendy .
