My words for Paul- ♥️Anna.x

As I stand here today I speak for my family, for our Beautiful Paul, My Big brother.
Even though you have left this world far too soon you will be forever in our hearts.
I know that if you could see through my eyes our Mum, Dads and Jodie’s your little sisters eyes and all the other people you touched in your short time on this earth you would see how much you are truly truly loved and how much you will be sorely missed ❤️
Our world will never be the same again there will always be a place in our hearts that can never be filled simply because that part of our hearts belongs to you, with you forever and always.
I can feel you now here with us and you are smiling that beautiful smile.
I’ve always believed that there is a silver thread that connects us binding our souls and are spirits together. An unbreakable chain that lasts forever for all eternity.
Paul there will never be a day that goes by without you being with us in our thoughts and our hearts.
Until we meet again we love you sleep well.
God bless
Y.N.W.A.

It’s a complete random reason I found this out. A picture of “hey Micky” popped up on my wall and I remembered Paul’s sister recorded that song. I googled Paul Kumble (it’s been 20 years since we worked together…but I have always remembered him)…Paul interviewed me for ccusa…i came back and worked with him to interview new people…and I spent 5 years working in US most of it full time. I met my now wife there…have 2 kids….and it’s all because Paul thought I could go to camp wAaay back in 2019. I’m so sad to hear this. It means nothing now…but know a 44yeR old dad is sitting in New Zealand tonight (I’m from and lived in London when I knew Paul) …but he was a key part of my journey when he said “yes”, I got to join CCUSA. Thank you Paul.

Only heard today that Paul had passed away. Once you are on the outside of that soccer camp company its like you were never there but you were Paul, you played a huge part in facilitating hundreds and hundreds of young peoples dreams of working in the USA, meeting friends and colleagues who would change their lives forever. I’m thankful to you for taking me under your wing and showing me the ropes. My condolences to your family and friends and may you rest in peace Paul, you left your mark on the world, more than you probably realised and a lot of people owe you thanks for what you did for them

  • Kevin, Thank you so much for this message. Our hearts are still broken and I miss him every single day. What you have said is so true.. I don’t think Paul truly knew what mark he made on this world and the people he came in contact with. Thank you again. Jodie (Paul’s youngest sister)

Thank you to the Kumble family for giving us the opportunity to share in your beloved Paul's send off. Father was correct, in normal times, literally thousands would have wanted to be with you. But what a send off he received. My goodness, Anna and Jodie did Paul proud and how proud they will have made their lovely parents too. We will continue to remember you all in these sad days leading up to your first Christmas without Paul.
May he rest n peace.

  • So true. Watching from Australia I thought father Barry did a lovely reflective service. Thinking of memories and as he suggested sending as kisses to heaven. Hope memories and photos bring comfort to you all.

Back then, life was simply friends, football and having fun (and maybe being a bit too cheeky). Times gone but not forgotten.
