Johann Augustinus Smit (Passed away 20 Nov 2020)

Dear Johann. It was a pleasure working with you. You were always kind and selfless, and gave 100% commitment to any task. The way you stayed positive through your battle was truly inspiring to all. You will be sorely missed and I send my condolences to your family. Rest in peace.

Johann was an incredibly kind and caring soul who I had the plessure of working with for 5 years, he taught me a lot when I first started and always made time for others if they needed help.

Johann was a solid man of many great values, his approach to any task was to give it !00% and he would pride himself on a job well done.
I have worked for and with Johann for nearly 20 years and he taught me the importance of doing a job well and never to cut corners.
The fight he has had for the last few years has been a huge struggle not only for Johann but for his family and they should all be very proud.
A Man I will continue to admire who was respected by all.

My dearest Johann (Kaas kop) I have known you as long as you have been dating my sister Barbara and what a gentleman you have been through out your time with her. You have been an inspiration to us all and to all man kind. There should be more men out there like you, to be an example as to how men should treat women.
