On 17th November, suddenly at home in Silsden. Derek aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Janette, Kathryn, Michael and Jeffrey, loving grandad of Steven, Philip, Andrew, Elizabeth, Laura and Sean, great grandad of Georgie, Libby, Lilly, Finley, Oscar, Aoife, Reggie, Olivia and Adaline, respected father in law of John, Graham, Sally and Julie. Due to the present circumstances a private funeral will take place at this time.

Fond memories of growing up on Longbottom Ave, and Derek's back road routes to many Caravan Club sites. We still follow his Morecambe route to this day. Thinking about you all at this sad time x

So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Derek. We have known Derek for many years through our association with the Caravan Club and in particular the Yorkshire Dales Centre of which he was Chairman.
