The warmth of your smile, your cheeky laugh, holiday hats, nice shirts, a dog by your side, fine dining with wine, memories of Nottingham, always up for for fun, adventure and a party, a lovely dad, grandad and friend. Thank you for being a wonderful person in my life. For me you will always be in Bembridge John, and still make us smile.
Much love to all, Holly x

I have so many happy memories of John and lovely times with all of his family.
Wonderful fun staying with them in Nottingham when I was younger and silly New Year's Eve parties and Teresa's birthdays on New Year's Day - especially when they gave her Misty her pony. Standing in the snow in the front garden with a ribbon round his neck on New Year's Day morning.
John had the most fabulous embrace of life - finding fun and laughter in everything and giving that to everyone around him. And silly impressions of The Goons!....
I have a tear in my eye now but I know memories of him in future will bring a smile to my face instead.
K xx
