Sheila Elliott (15 Apr 1947 - 10 Oct 2020)
In loving memory of Sheila Elliott who sadly passed away suddenly due to a subarachnoid haemorrhage on 10th October 2020, aged 73 years.
Mum touched the lives of everyone she met. She was the most selfless, kind, generous, thoughtful, loving, gentle soul and always put others before herself. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and did anything to support them. She was much loved by all.
Flowers will be provided from family and we kindly ask if you feel able to donate, please do so to the charities close to mum’s heart.
Mum was first and foremost a mother, the most exceptional mum we could have ever wished for. Secondly, she was a nurse, something which was not just a job, it was her vocation in life. She loved being a nurse, she embraced everything about this role with every part of her being. She treated each and every person she cared for as her own. Something very rare.
We will donate any kind donations to Cavell Nurses Trust, which supports UK nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants, both working and retired, when they’re suffering personal or financial hardship often due to illness, disability, older age, domestic abuse and the impact of the coronavirus.
We will also donate to the RSPCA which was also very close to mum’s heart. Not only humans, she had such compassion and love for animals, and we adopted some of our dearest dogs through this charity based organisation.
Mum was and always will be an inspiration to all of those who knew and loved her.
Our angel. Forever in our hearts and minds.
Thank you everyone for you kind words and support, it is greatly appreciated and means a lot at this difficult time. Much love ❤
