For almost 6 years I've worked at the Vale,
Running around trying to get the sale,
And just when my sugar levels would start to decrease,
You'd appear like an angel with cakes and sweets!

Always with a smile and a witty comment or two,
A kiss for your Jan followed by "I love you",
Such a beautiful thing to see on an dull, average day,
A mothers love expressed in the most delicate way.

Our sweet tooth fairy has turned into an angel now,
And while others ask the questions why and how,
I know you're looking down on Jan and all your family too,
Blowing a kiss and saying "I love you".
