Uncle Eric a kind and humorous man remembed mostly as a very young boy on yearly holidays in Kent in the mid 1960s
I understand he was working very hard for Marconi at this time
Many memorable occasions of being driven in the huge ford zephyr 4 to long forgotten places with my mum ( his sister Stella Joan)
More recently he struggled with increasingly frailty and loss of independence

Charles was a very good friend to my cousin Keith, they used to meet every week for lunch at the Pentagon shopping centre. They shared many interests, both were in the RAF, and had an interest in aircraft and militaria. Both were Diabetic. Charles had originally lived at St Margarets street, in the same house as Keith, when my Aunt was alive. We are sorry for your loss.
